The Sunday Whirl

I shouldn’t have done it, I know. But I followed her to the garden. She intended me to, of course she did. I was unable to resist, for whilst strolling along the twisting path she peered over her shoulder, beckoning me with her smouldering eyes.

As she neared that special place she stopped and slowly turned. A primal urge rose within my beating heart. I knew that in a short while I would do something I vowed I’d never do again. The shame I had felt the last time simply evaporated along with all sense and reason. Just one kiss I told myself. That’s all.  But it was not to be all.

So now, I have to once again keep my guilty secret locked away. It will never happen again. Will it?

This week’s given words at The Sunday Whirl are - primal, place, follow, rise, shame, near, reach, base, eyes, garden and kiss. I used all but one.

  5. Unfair! Now I'll be walking around all week, wondering if you are wearing a smirky grin, or a scowling grimace.

  7. It seems his sense of guilt is rather short-lived. At some point I fear he will trip himself up!
