I was standing at the bus stop outside MacDonald's in Eastbourne today when I noticed a youngish couple, maybe in their mid twenties, munching on their Big Macs. Nothing much was said until the bloke raised himself to his full height, inclined his head slightly backwards and said,

'I was finkin. If you fink you are finkin, just stand back and fink again'.

Well I was pretty impressed I can tell you. A statement that was both philosophical and profound! I Thought I'd better remember that one because it could come in useful one day.

So I thought about it. I stood back and thought again.

Then I realised it made no sense at all.
