My - not for the squeamish! The real question is, did you sample any of the local fare?Happy WW to you!
Truly not my favourites. But,it is nice to see about some food culture...
Oh! my this is one set of food photos that didn't make my mouth water LOL Have a baaaatastic week :-)
Well, did you try any of it? I sure wouldn't!
I was at this street market a few years ago. My daughter was going to brave a scorpion, but our guide told her that the last people she brought there bought one and when they broke it open there were live maggots inside. Great photos.
Ramona is right this market is not for the weak stomach. I guess it depends where you grow up and what you get used to.
Ew.I think I'll pass on those foods, Keith! Please come link up athttp://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/bennett-place-bit-of-history.html
Very interesting. Not the place I would shop.
Oh dear, I think I've just lost my appetite.
Remind me to NEVER visit a Chinese street market. Nice photos though.
Um, I have no words. Other than... Thank goodness I've already eaten my lunch...
I have never tried any or would like to.. Aww always wanted a sea horse... as a pet in a bowl though..Thanks for hosting., nice shots.,,
Not really my my cup of Tea. I think I will pass. Did you get to try some of them?
Oh my goodness! I'm Asian but I think I'll pass on those exotic dishes too :P
I eat some of this haha! But the others nope!
I have to say, I glad they don't serve that at the local Chinese restaurant.
Okay, so the pattern on the sheep thingies is really interesting and almost pretty....but I've heard it said that the Chinese eat every part of an animal........waste not, want not, I suppose...but not for me!!!Great pictures though!!! :)
I'm fascinated by the things people eat around the world. So much what we consider edible is set in our childhoods. Great shots.
Interesting. Glad I don't live there. Here's mine: What to Wear to Go Hiking in Yellowstone Park.
Lots to choose from. ;) I do like eating different types of food. This may go slightly over my comfort zone.
Who'd'a thunk?!?!? Neat finds!!
Congratulations. You have just convinced me to be a Vegetarian. YUCK!
I am always open to local food and love to try out things I don't know, but these with the best will I couldn't eat !
Oh my gosh, those. . . . . .ewww! My hubby was in China a couple years ago and loved all of the different things. Great photos, although I'm not sure I'd eat most of that. Happy Wordless Wednesday!
People actually eat this stuff? Ick! Thanks for linking up at the Talbert Zoo. Have a great week.
yucks.. I don't think I will ever eat such stuff.. Have seen them on sale when I was in China a couple of years back.
Great pictures. I remember having so much fun with the food in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, etc.) a few years ago. Even braved some of the street food as long as I could see the cooking space and process. Delicious.
