Clouds

The theme at the Poetry Jam this week is Clouds

Clouds.
Playing hide 'n seek with the sun.
Now you see it, now you don't, then it's back again.

Clouds.
Puffy pillows of white and grey
Drifting silently amid a sky of brightest blue.
So tall, so majestic, so mystical.

Clouds.
A sign of rain to come.
Or snow or wind or light or shade.
Or swords of lightning that slash the ground.

Clouds

  3. Ah, clouds really are so expressive, aren't they? They really do play hide and seek with the sun...and like you say in the third stanza, they predict the weather. I liked the form you used, Keith!

  4. I enjoyed your poem, Keith. You seem to have explored numerous facets of clouds in a few lines. The third stanza reminds me that I am incapable of reading clouds for weather forecast.
