  1. This really makes me think of the phrase 'tomorrow never comes' - it always does of course - sometimes it just takes a bit longer.

  2. I've only read a couple and so far, we all agree that to love like that is fleeting or temporary.

    Like fireworks, hot and bright and flashy but quick to die.

    This was an excellent example of tht kind of love.

    Sad.

  7. keith.. I went thru the same thing 30 years ago. Your poem brought it all back. that's ok, good poetry will always make someone reflect. There is no magic elixir to cure the pain, just time courage and the knowledge that you can win

  8. There's is such a child-like feel in how this poem was written, and that made this poem even more piercing to every heart who understands how it is to love and be broken.
