Keith love does take journeys we don't appreciate at the moment, yet I think from a sad situation can come a better happening.I love the cute little thing you find to add to your blog.
This really makes me think of the phrase 'tomorrow never comes' - it always does of course - sometimes it just takes a bit longer.
I've only read a couple and so far, we all agree that to love like that is fleeting or temporary.Like fireworks, hot and bright and flashy but quick to die. This was an excellent example of tht kind of love.Sad.
Sad that some relationships end so abruptly. You've captured both the beginnings and endings well. Have a great night.
Too often it happens like this. sad.
I am not good in commenting poetry ! I just wanted to show you my view of the Eastbourne airshow !http://gattinatravels.blogspot.com/
Aww, that's so sad. *pass the tissues*...AGAIN!

keith.. I went thru the same thing 30 years ago. Your poem brought it all back. that's ok, good poetry will always make someone reflect. There is no magic elixir to cure the pain, just time courage and the knowledge that you can win
There's is such a child-like feel in how this poem was written, and that made this poem even more piercing to every heart who understands how it is to love and be broken. It's been awhile since I visited here. Been very busy. I finally finished my ON-LINE ART PORTFOLIO.Here's to share my produce . . .http://jeques.wordpress.com/2009/08/16/biennial/I wish you well.~ Jeques
Life is like that...you have passed your absurdity to me
Just visiting Well written and I love how you presented it. I think we are here to learn lessons and to grow. Growing pains are hard but you will come out better. Aroha
