Clouds

Clouds.
Playing hide 'n seek with the sun.
Now you see it, now you don't, then it's back again.

Clouds.
Puffy pillows of white and grey
Drifting silently amid a sky of brightest blue.
So tall, so majestic, so mystical.

Clouds.
A sign of rain to come. Or snow or wind or light or shade.
Or swords of lightning that slash the ground.

  2. Ambre and Missy - thankyou so much for your generous comments.

I took these pics on Tuesday at the beach whilst photographing Alice and her friend on their horses. Fortunately they (the clouds - not the horses!) stayed put and we continued to enjoy a spectacular Summer's day!

  3. Keith please go to the poetry coffee house and critique my first poem. It was written as a Flash 55 challenge, yes, another game.

This one though challenges you to write a piece utilizing 55 words only...

The fact that I enjoy entendres is no secret around town (lol)...So, you can rest assured that it is a metaphor indeed!

  5. Did you rise from the water to take these pics? Certainly seems like that is where you were. Such devotion to duty.
