Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers
Sandy went shopping. Unfortunately whilst crossing the road she got her heel stuck in the tram track. Old Nick went to her rescue. He walks with a stick. At least, he did because whilst assisting Sandy it jammed in the tram track.
Young Mick witnessed the goings on and offered his services. As a typical youth, he was cradling a mobile phone in his hand. As he tried to pop it in his pocket he missed and it fell into the tram track.
PC Potter spotted the goings on. ‘Hello hello hello, what’s going on ‘ere then?’ he asked the way coppers do whenever faced with an unusual situation. The multiple dilemmas were explained to him and he decided to take some notes in his little black book. Sadly he dropped his pen and it disappeared into the tram track.
An hour later there was a queue of trams and a crowd of people, many on their hands and knees searching for everything from false teeth to spectacles all of which had been claimed by the tram track.
I decided not to help. Sorry!

A cute little story. Good you didn't attempt to help and in return would have lost something.
