  2. What a fun event! Some of us were just talking about the old May poles we had when we were little here in the US. I haven't seen one in a long time.

  4. Delightful! I never recall a fair like this but my little hometown of Bucyrus Ohio USA celebrates the community's German roots by having a Bratwurst Festival every summer. My great, great uncle provided the best example of the sausage. That recipe is in our family to this day. I remember wearing a little German style dress his wife made for me one year long ago. Thanks for bringing up fond memories!

    1. I've only been to one German festival and that was the Oktoberfest in Munich. They tell me I drank some beer, but I don't actually remember much!
