Post 1438. Wednesday February 1
A pink satin dress, sparkly leggings and silver shoes. A pair of yellow wings; flowers in her hair. She picks up her wand. There are spells to perform, happiness to hand out and wishes to fulfil.
Twenty have passed and Felicia is ‘something in the city’. People arrive with their dreams and she grants their wishes. Her stardust is loan agreements; her fairy land, the bank.
But in quiet moments she still flits from flower to flower in a magic garden, playing ring-a-ring-a-roses with butterflies.
Outside the office window, something sparkled. Felicia smiled as a shower of stardust floated from the sky, settling on the sill.
Written for Friday Fictioneers which is hosted by Rochelle. Our prompt photo is supplied by Roger Bultot. Felicia hopes you don't mind her stardust!
What a sweet story. Happy to know that Felicia still believes in stardust. I enjoyed this.
