Six Sentence Stories
She was the bread winner, not him. He just loafed around all day doing nothing at all, unable even to
knock up a sandwich for his own lunch. He tried making toast the other day; he dropped it on
the floor and it landed butter side down. That should have told him something but it didn’t.
It was hardly surprising that she was led into temptation. She walked out this morning, determined to claim the slice of life that was rightfully hers, wondering if he would even bother to sweep up the crumbs of their stale relationship.
