Friday Fictioneers

Posted Wednesday October 2

‘Twenty-five thousand? You’re kidding!  Look at the state of it’

‘It’s a thriving business, sir. It’s a steal’

‘A steal? Thriving? Twenty...five...thousand? That's crazy!’

Nothing a couple of pots of paint can’t sort out sir’

‘ but...but... but...’

‘ Tell you what sir. Suppose I throw in a couple of paint brushes?’

‘A couple of what...what? I’ll need more of an incentive than that! Twenty-five thousand. For goodness sake!’

‘You drive a hard bargain, sir. How about we give you some weed killer too?’

‘Really? Are you sure? In that case, give me your hand young man. Where do I sign?'

  4. Too funny, sometimes in the emotional moment of a transaction and our eagerness to close a deal we lose all common sense! This made me laugh! I can tell you his wife isn't going to be happy about this purchase!! ;-)

  10. Ah, the hard sell. I would never have imagined weed killer as the deciding factor, though. Fun!

  12. The art of negotiation! You portray how some people just want anything thrown into the deal so that they feel they've got a bargain very well.
