It's Wordless Wednesday. Sorry about all the words; sometimes they simply are necessary!
Last Sunday I visited the prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge. It was constructed in several stages between 3000 and 1500 B.C., spanning the Neolithic Period to the Bronze Age. It remains shrouded in mystery. Was it an ancient healing centre, an alien landing site or an astrological computer? Although it predated them by some 2,000 years, modern-day Druid societies still see it as a pilgrimage destination.
