Good riddance

Our given words at 3 Word Wednesday this week are Misery, privilege and stale.

I don’t know how she put up with him. He was such a misery. He was either asleep in a chair or wandering around the house or garden looking bored.

He led such a privileged life. She looked after him hand and foot. Food was put in front of him whenever he wanted it. Sometimes he would just sniff it and walk away as if it was stale or inedible.

One day he just disappeared. Where he went she had no idea. He’ll probably return.

Cats are like that, aren’t they?

  2. Led up the garden path Keith! For a second it appeared as though the beau was a good-for-nothing guy!

  3. I actually figured this clever little mystery out when he would sniff the food and walk away. My own furry little brat Jezebel can be just like that. ~grin~ Nicely done, this is really fun.

  6. Yep, that's cats all right. Mine went missing for a whole summer, once, and came back looking very ragged and sorry for himself. He's never wandered off again, poor thing - I hate to think what happened to him.

  7. I have known cats that have chosen three house in the street to call home. At first you feel flattered then speaking to your neighbours you realise you have been conned! They know us too well.
