many American television shows but if you promise to behave I’ll take you to McDonald's for a burger, but there's to be no more talking like a cowboy.

This weeks cue is Menu and I have taken the liberty of de-constructing it whilst still sticking to a foody story!
I liked it! (yeah, this is where I go all crypto-faux-rhetorical on ya....) among the different challenges in learning this writing thing, accents, dialects and (ahem patois) is fun in the aggravating way that fiction-writing, building-a-ship-in-a-bottle, and being-taught-to-dance-by-your-spinster-aunt-at-a-wedding-reception is fun.

DeleteNice story. Growing up in Motown, I always heard it as 'honey chile'. I have a Minnesota friend who says he loves my Midwest accent. What accent???
