I used to like Windows 7

Then along came Windows 8 - ouch!

I'm getting used to Windows 10!

I think I'm gonna like it!

*Need two more sets of curtains!

  1. I'm very hesitant about Windows 10. I'm still on Windows 7 and I'm not sure I'm ready to learn something new!

  3. Please can you give us a review, when you've had time to get used to it? I quite like Windows 8, - the biggest shocks for me were when Vista came in - I loathed it. But I won't try 10 until lots of my lovely blogging friends have tried it and found it harmless!

  5. At work our IT people told us to hold of a while on Windows 10 just to let them work the kinks out and see which programs work with it etc. I like the mac I use at home much better! :)

    1. No kinks so far, and it's easy o switch back.

  6. I must add my two cents here. My partner is a computer expert and warned that Windows 10 will eventually trap folks into paying for services on a subscription basis, even including such things as advertisement-free games like solitaire. Apparently, that's why Microsoft is offering it for free. I'm sticking with 7, myself. Best wishes!

    1. My son is too, he's 'on the inside' at Microsoft. As for games, I only play them on my Andriod tablet - my PC is purely for blogging, photography, writing and the like. If he's happy then I'm happy!

  7. Darla., I'm with you on this. We have 7 and its apparently good for several years yet, so thats what we're sticking with. My husband switched to 8.1 for his new Tablet and he said its not bad, not as difficult as 8 was. Im not a huge fan of 7 OR 8.1 since neither of them is XP--and what they've done to Word (which I use steadily) makes me wonder when the entire program will implode in front of me--
