Vinay Leo R. kindly invited me to participate in A Prompt Each Day. So here I am! Today's prompt is 'Two minutes more'
If I’d had just two minutes more I would have caught that bus, made it to the shop before it closed, bought some delicious wine and some yummy chocolate, caught the bus home again and right now I’d be watching the six-o-clock news.
As it is I’m drinking tepid skimmed milk and eating a tasteless curled up sandwich whilst watching the eight-o-clock news about someone who was running for the bus, tripped, fell and ended up in hospital.
Nurse, bedpan please!
He'll probably regret asking me now!
