I do remember taking water taxis in Dubai, and getting let off somewhere different than we had expected.
Love all those boats, we used to have water taxi's here in London I presume we still do :-)
While this may be nothing unusual for many, I find it very interesting.Happy holidays from all of us over at www.craftyspices.com
Those cargo ships are so quaint but so small! They must be used for short distances.
Lovely colors! Its so busy in there and the cargoes looks all gadgety! Thanks for sharing =) Dropping by from http://pixiedusk.livejournal.com/323666.html
Interesting mode of transport. water taxi's haven't tried those before.
It is always good to see the character of places remain despite the universal style in architecture and technology that has overtaken the world. So it is with these vessels as they give a glimpse of the past.
Great pictures again.Love these old boats with the veranda like fencing Lol that's my way to describe itI spend one day in Dubai and remember how hot it was.
I've never been down to the docks and I live near one of the biggest seaports in America! I should do that one day.I'd love to have you stop by Readerbuzz!
It's always fascinating to see such age and tradition mixed with modern technology. Great pics!
Great pics. I remember them from 20 years ago when I was there.
