Last week I showed you some photographs of Eastbourne pier which is undergoing restoration following a devastating fire last year.
This week we are taking a four-mile stroll along the beach from Eastbourne's vast Sovereign Harbour, back to the pier.
Sovereign Harbour is northern Europe’s largest composite marina complex and boasts four linked harbours.

Next week we will walk past the pier and on to Beachy Head!
I stay inland, so seascapes are something I find fascinating :) loved the set of photos.
ReplyDeleteKeith, I started a meme on June 1st, called A Prompt Each Day. ( http://aprompteachday.wordpress.com )
Do stop by, write and link up if the prompt tickles your muse anytime.
Now this looks right up my street (or down my seafront!) I'll certainly be dipping my toes in the water.
DeleteBeautiful photos and all that blue I didn't realise how nice Eastbourne is :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a tanfastic week :-)
It's a lovely place and it has held the UK sunshine record for as many years as I can remember. I am of course somewhat biased having been a lifetime local!
DeleteAmazing captures... This place looks absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday!
It really is! Thanks for dropping by Jessica

ReplyDeletebetty
That had never crossed my mind! Thanks for dropping by Betty
DeleteGorgeous views of the beach and harbor, as well as the round tower!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The tower is a Martello Tower and it's one of the 45 fortresses that remain of the 75 built around 1804 along our bit of coast. History lesson over!
DeleteLovely photos. It looks like a beautiful place to visit. Or live, as the case may be. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's both! Certainly suits me! Thanks for visiting Wendy.
DeleteI love the blue ocean water and blue sky in each of the scenes. ;)
ReplyDeleteMe too Mary!
DeleteFabulous shots! I really like the one picture (far right image) in the collage arrangement at the top. That's amazing with the water crashing against the pier! This looks like an amazing place to casually stroll while snapping a lot of pictures. I would have fun there, I know! Happy #WW, Keith!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is. I lived here most of my life and have no intention of moving!
