This piece of music is called Song for Athene. It was wriiten by my favourite modern composer John Tavener whom I have had the pleasure of meeting on two occasions. It was written as a Easter Anthem and dedicated to a collegue who was lost in a car accident. It's premiere was at the funeral of Princess Diana who was a friend of his.
